learning.
learning that not everything has to go my way,
learning that i don't necessarily need you,
learning that figuring out who i am is far more important,
learning that i can't trust many,
learning that my emotions and my heart are more fragile than i thought,
learning that taking it slow is worth it,
learning that laughing really makes things better,
learning that love, real love, can make this all better.
it's the hardest when being burned left and right is the best way to learn something new, but i've never been one to listen right away. i'm happy, i'm sad. i'm hopeful, i'm disappointed. i'm filled, i'm emptied. and i'm loved.
